The tides had turned on Kairo. Now he was on his heels and Zed had the advantage. His legs and power armor feeling wobbly below him. The massive Ork boss took the marine next by the neck, hoisting him into the air in an impressive display of strength, but it wouldn’t end there. Zed’s massive bionic fist began pounding into the ceremite, causing it to crack and buckle under the pressure.
The pain slowly brought Kairo back to the real world. For his sake, he was lucky. Marine armor was such that he could take such brutal punishment. Even if it was showing the signs of major damage, its wearer remained mostly protected. Any other human would be dead by now.
